3 Tips på hur du bevarar "hälsotänket" i sommar

3 Tips on how to maintain a"healthy mindset"this summer

The Midsummer weekend is over and it is now officially summer with glorious sunshine, swimming and a short break for many of us. But then it's that thing with routines, or rather the lack of routines that many of us struggle with. In many cases, this means choosing to cut back on daily exercise and diet. Even though you know deep down that you shouldn't prioritize it.

That's why we've taken on this challenge by putting together 3 tips on how you can use simple means to maintain a "healthy mindset" this summer.

1. Morning walk

Starting the day with just a simple walk in the sun is the perfect way to kick start the burn, improve blood circulation and strengthen your bones. But really, it doesn't matter what time of day you go for your walk, the most important thing is that you get into a routine that allows you to actually go out and walk. But the best of all is probably that everyone can join in and participate!

2. Indulge in seasonal fruits and vegetables

We in Sweden are very lucky when it comes to eating fruit and vegetables grown according to the season. From July until September, you should make an extra stop by the vegetable counter and pick out some of these treats!

Vegetables:

Cauliflower, broccoli, fresh beans, fennel, cucumber, iceberg lettuce, artichoke, kohlrabi, turnip, onion, Swiss chard, corn, carrot, parsnip, bell pepper, potato, leek, celeriac, radishes, beets, salad bowl, sugar snap peas, asparagus, spinach, celery stalk , tomatoes, cabbage, zucchini.

Fruits and berries:

Rhubarb, currants, cantaloupe, cherries, gooseberries, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, plums, pears.

3. Daily alone time with family and friends

Be sure to treat yourself to some extra time to spend with your loved ones. The truth is that many of us feel much better when we feel that we have time to spend with those we like. And it doesn't have to be complicated or planned since several weeks back. Not at all! But the trick is to dare to be a little spontaneous this summer. Because more often than not, it is the spontaneous and undemanding moments in our lives that become the most memorable.
