Saturday sweets vs freeze-dried fruits

It is not surprising that our intake of sweets is constantly increasing. Candy seems to be everywhere!
When we were kids, we saw candy on the Saturday candy shelf. That shelf had a few candy bars and a few chocolate bars, and they were considerably smaller than the huge chocolate bars that fill store shelves today. Even the bags we used to pick loose candy in were significantly smaller than the huge bags that now hold several kilos of candy. It seems our craving for sweets is never satisfied.
Saturday sweets vs Freeze-dried fruits:
Saturday treats: Saturday sweets usually consist of sugary and colorful sweets such as jelly sweets, chocolate, licorice, caramels and the like. Ttend to be high in calories due to its high sugar and fat content.
Saturday sweets generally contain very few nutrients and are low in fibre, vitamins and minerals. Consuming large amounts of Saturday candy can be detrimental to health due to its high sugar content, which can lead to weight gain and increased risk of dental problems, diabetes and other health problems.
Freeze-dried fruits: Freeze-dried fruits are a healthier alternative to Saturday treats. They are made by freezing and evaporating the water from fresh fruit, preserving its flavor and nutritional value.
We have created Mango and Strawberry snacks for a healthier alternative to the Saturday treat.
They retain many of the natural nutrients from fresh fruit, including dietary fiber, vitamins and minerals. Freeze-dried fruits can be a healthy alternative to traditional candy because they offer natural sweetness and nutritional value. They can be a good option for those who want to reduce their intake of sugar and improve their diet.
