How are superfoods used?

What is superfood?

Think of the powders as a complement to your daily nutritional intake, and use them in the way that suits you best and based on the flavors you like. Our superfood can be enjoyed every day - in a smoothie, or sprinkled over yogurt, porridge, or salad. Here are some suggestions below.

Smoothie

Smoothie Superfood & berries

 

Choose your favorite mix and take about 1 tbsp and add it to a blender. Blend with a banana, 1 dl berries and 2 dl water or milk (we use plant-based). Blend and enjoy! If you want to experiment with flavors, try adding a handful of spinach leaves, an avocado, a little fresh ginger, fresh herbs, or nuts. I make a smoothie like this every day for breakfast and afternoon snacks.

Varm dryck med superfood, Superfood & berries


All powder mixes blend perfectly with water or milk (1/2 - 1 tsp) and can be drunk, for example, instead of tea or coffee. Feel free to check the product description to read more about the different flavors.

Since we haven't added sugar or other flavor enhancers, some mixes require you to add natural sweetness in the form of fruit or, for example, raw honey. Our favorites are to take 1 tsp Hormone Harmony and mix it into a cup of hot plant-based milk with cinnamon and cardamom, plus 1 tsp raw honey in the evening for a calming effect.

Recipe: Chia pudding with an extra boost

Chiapudding med Superfood & berries

Take 3 tbsp chia seeds and mix with plant-based milk and 1 tsp of your favorite powder mix. Refrigerate for at least 20 min, or overnight. Top with fruit, berries, or nuts.

Recipe: Sprinkle over yogurt, porridge, or salad

Yoghurt med Superfood & berries

Take 1 tsp of your favorite powder mix and sprinkle it over porridge or yogurt or over a salad. It also works great mixed into a salad dressing with, for example, oil, vinegar, lemon, and herbs.

For salad, Detox Deluxe, Health Haven and Protein Power work especially well, while Hormone Harmony and Berry Beautiful blend nicely with breakfast.

Recipe: A healthier ice cream

Glass med Superfood & berries

Peel and slice 2 bananas and freeze them for at least 2 hours. Blend the frozen bananas with 1-2 tsp of your favorite mix (I usually use Berry Beautiful or Hormone Harmony) and optionally 1 tsp raw honey or vanilla powder. Top with frozen berries and nuts.
