Health benefits of cinnamon and saffron

Both cinnamon and saffron have been shown to have various health benefits, and have been used in traditional medicine for a long time.

Cinnamon: Real cinnamon is grown mainly in Sri Lanka and is called Ceylon cinnamon. A cheaper variant of cinnamon, and the one you usually find in the store, is called cassia cinnamon and comes from Indonesia, Vietnam and China.
